Adult Sailing Lessons
Since 2001 Sail New Haven has promoted leadership, team work and self reliance through sailing. The program has grown from one vessel, Back of the Moon, to a fleet of boats. Our enthusiastic instructors are U.S. Sailing certified. All participants will be required to wear a lifejacket when working on or near the water. This class is for adults who want to sharpen their sailing skills or learn for the first time. This 12-hour course gives participants a strong background in the basic skills necessary to safely sail a small keel boat. There is both classroom and on-the-water learning.
