A traditionally rigged, wooden schooner, the Quinnipiack is 91 feet long from the tip of her bowsprit to the end of her main boom. Her deck is 65 feet long and 20 feet wide and provides a unique setting for entertaining guests. Sit back and relax or join the crew in hoisting sails. The Quinnipiack can accommodate up to 40 passengers. Bring a picnic or have your affair catered. Beer and wine are permitted on board. Add an educational slant to your charter: Schooner can provide an instructor to highlight the natural history of Long Island Sound and New Haven's maritime history along with one educational station for you and your guests to explore at your leisure. April - November The Quinnipiack is fully insured and certified as a United States Passenger Vessel by the U.S. Coast Guard. The boat is ably crewed by a full-time professional staff and a USCG-licensed Captain. Charters in other Ports The Quinnipiack is a teaching vessel and often visits other ports for festivals or education programs. Please contact the Schooner Inc office for more information.
