Traveling Teach Tanks
Teach Tank programs bring Long Island Sound into your classroom with exciting, themed activities that expand on the basic touch tank. Schooner's flexible scheduling can offer up to five sessions in a single school day—often an entire grade level of classes can be accommodated in a single day. Teach Tank programs are 50 minutes and compliment the topics taught every day in your classroom.
Assemby Programs
Assembly programs are designed to bring Long Island Sound to large groups of students (usually
entire grade-levels) throughout an entire school day. This program allows time for up to six 45 minute programs, each using a presentation and Question & Answer style format to allow students to discover the wonders of Long Island Sound. An assembly program is a transportation-free way to introduce your
students to the habitats and animals in Long Island Sound.
